Dive Into Color…Immerse yourself in a full day of in-depth color study and come away with creative ideas and colorful inspirations – and your own collection of color palettes and bead soups that you can use in future projects. In class you will: build your color confidence through fun and engaging exercises in color mixing, proportion and collage; observe and discuss color harmonies and nuances of color in nature, art, and in your own creations; learn the importance of saturation, depth and value and practice using the color wheel as a tool you’ll use time and again to enhance any palette. You will develop an ability to analyze and understand why some color combinations are exciting to you and why others are not – and what you can do to add a splash of excitement. So, whether you are sailing along with a strong sense of color or just now getting your feet wet – ‘Dive Into Color’ will give you hands-on techniques that you can apply in your beadwork, art, and home decorating projects.
